Schedule (tentative! Subject to change, check back often)

(Some sections of the text are "skipped" meaning that you will not be responsible for this material on exams.
However, I encourage you to skim over the skipped sections!)
Also see the "Lecture Info" tab above for more...

Chapter 01: Introduction, read the online notes. (Wolfson Ch 1 is optional but recommended for this week)
Chapter 02: 1D Motion
Chapter 03: Vectors and 2D Motion
Chapter 04: Newton's Laws
Chapter 05: Using Newton's Laws
Chapter 06: Work and Energy
Chapter 07: Conservation of Energy
Chapter 08: Gravity
Chapter 09: Systems of particles, Momentum and Collisions
Chapter 10: Rotational Motion
Chapter 11: Angular Momentum
Chapter 12: Static Equilibrium
Chapter 13: Simple Harmonic Motion, skip 13.6, 13.7
Note the order change - Chapter 15: Static Fluids, but we will skip 15.4, 15.5, 15.6
Chapter 14: Waves, skip 14.8
If we have time, we may cover Chapter 16: Temperature and Heat
(And, even less likely, but useful to look at especially for its connection to other classes like Chemistry and Thermo - Chapter 17: Online notes "A little heat")

Mastering Physics is due every Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM
Tutorial homework and special homework are due every Monday evening at 8:00 PM at D2L's dropbox (The first set due on September 10).
The first FlipIt prelecture video is due 1 PM Thursday.

This schedule is still quite tentative - it may change as we go along! Stay tuned
