PRELAB QUESTIONS: (to be turned in upon arriving at lab)

1. Read the lab thoroughly.

2. Familiarize yourself with electric field vectors by reading the textbook and the online lecture notes.

3. In the following diagram, the magnitude of q is 10 nC (10*10-9 C). The sign of each charge is indicated in the drawing. Calculate the electric field at points A and B. Mark the field vectors on the drawing (after you have printed it out), paying attention to the directions and relative magnitudes of the fields.
