- We will post exam solutions later tonight (or early tomorrow) - look for them on the D2L site!
- I expect your GRADES for the exam will be available on D2L by the end of the weekend, we'll put a note here when those are ready.

- First midterm is Thurs evening, Sep 27 (7:30 PM). See "Exams and Grades" link on the left, under Course Info, for details - (including study suggestions, an older practice exam, etc)
- NOTE: I will hold an extra office hour Wed evening at 5 PM in G125 (that's one floor up). It's not a "review session", I won't prepare anything - it's just a chance to ask last minute questions.
- Prelab is due every week, print our a copy of it and your lab before section. (See "Assignments" under Labs/Recitations link on the left for details)
- There is a weekly optional study session run by Ariel Paul, every Tues at 8 PM, in G125 (1 floor up from our class)
Some lecture demos you can play with: - Here is that Mathematica code that lets you look at equipotential contours in "mountain view" or "topo-map" view. (It *may* run in your browser, but if you need to download Mathematica, and want it, it's free to CU students. Go here for more information)
- If you go to the PhET simulations link (under "Other useful links") and find the "Charges and Fields" sim you used in lab (not the hockey game, the other one), move the voltage reader crosshairs anywhere on the screen (it starts off in the lower left corner, but you can drag it) Click "plot" to show an equipotential contour showing all OTHER points besides where the crosshair is with the same voltage!)
- They also have a "capacitor lab" sim.
- REGISTER TO VOTE in the upcoming elections at STUDENTVOTE.ORG!
Deadline is Oct 9 (If you don't vote, you can't complain about the government!) The best way to get political leaders to pay attention to you is to register and vote this November. The COPIRG New Voters Project is a non-partisan effort to make sure every student at CU Boulder gets a chance to do just that. You can register to vote online by going to StudentVote.org and following the instructions.
Alternatively, you can go directly to the Colorado state gov't website (which has more voter information as well as registration information) at http://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/vote/VoterHome.html
