Format of exam:
Mix of Multiple choice (20 worth 30 points) and long answer (select 2 of 3 for 20 points) - but I'm still finalizing folks!
~ 60% multiple choice, ~40% long answer
1.5 hours long.
Bring:
pencil
calculator and
ONE 3x5 note card with whatever you want to write down by hand (both sides)
Exam will have constants provided, but NOT formulas (we will discuss this in class)
Don’t stress: Remember: Lowest exam score can be dropped (see syllabus)
What to review?
Everything ; )
HW, lecture notes, ConcepTests, reading quizzes, reading (yes in that order).
This is not particularly about memorizing, but really about sense-making. Need to know why we believe things and how to make inferences from observations.
