I haven't yet figured out how to post to our newsgroup directly through Mosaic.
If you can figure out how, please post a message about it!
Netscape is really the browser of choice - if you view the newsgroup with Netscape, there will be a simple button at the bottom of the page to click on that says "post" (or "reply" if you're reading a message you want to reply to)
Netscape is available on many terminals around campus, including the Macs in C-119 (end of the physics building).
Actually, you CAN run netscape from the Nexts if you have an account on UCSU or UCSUB. After starting up "Co-Xist", click the mouse button in the grey area in the background. A menu should pop up, on which you'll find "CNS systems", under which is ucsu or ucsub. Click on the one you have an account on, and log in. You will need to tell it what your local screen is. If you run csh, you'll simply type
setenv DISPLAY wheisenberg:0.0
(But, replace wheisenberg with the name of your terminal. However, don't forget the :0.0 at the end. ) Then, if that worked, type "netscape" and you're off and running. (If you're not running csh, you'll get some error message. You can always just type "csh", and then what I said above)
