Phys 4460/5460: Final Project Outline

The Goal of the Project Outline is to start fleshing out what you will do / have done for your Course Project and make sure that your methods and scale are approrpiate.

The Outline shoul be about 1 page and it is fine to be a narrative or in the form of an outline.

This stage is not for you to have collected all (or in some cases any) of the data, or conducted the research or your curriculum design, but for you to provide a concrete outline of what you wish to accomplish (perhaps along with a timeline for your work).

A full one page summary (outline or narrative formats are great). Please be sure to include:

  • topic
  • outline of how you will address this topic
    • e.g. data collection, environment, analysis etc.
    • or curriculum design, what you will draw from, how you will enact/ assess (where appropriate)
    • or theoretical studies / lit reviews: what you'll be talking about where you'll be drawing from
  • timeline
  • expected outcomes.
  • any current questions you have for us on the projects.

If you want you can use the outline provided on the projects page.

As we note above, there are many ways to approach the final project. If you have any
questions feel free to contact us, We're always eager to discuss your projects.
