The midterm time is now set: the in-class portion will be on Friday, ¹⁰⁄₂₅, replacing the lecture that day. There will be a take-home portion to be completed before the in-class portion, released earlier that week; you’ll be expected to bring your completed take-home exam to the in-class portion, use it to help finish the rest of the exam, and then turn them both in.

Also, I’m going to stop announcing problem set assignments here now that we’re on a pretty regular schedule; I’ll still announce by e-mail when I post them.
