- A new message from the Science Education Initiative:
Subject: Free pizza, and interview about Dr. Pollock's class.
Hello, we came in to film your class with Dr. Pollock because we wanted to capture the PhET simulations in that class. We're making a short film on different ways people use these simulations in college classes. For that little film, we'd like to get a chance to talk to some of the students in that class and see what they say about the activities -- what works well, what doesn't work well -- to help other instructors use group work well in classes.
We will offer you free pizza (or maybe sandwiches) to come talk about your experience in that class for 20-30 minutes, on camera. You will also be helping us to spread innovative class techniques across CU and beyond!
Please email me at stephanie.chasteen@colorado.edu if you're interested, and indicate your availability the week of April 20th. - Grade informations incl. Midterms 1-3, (Pre-)Labs 1-8, HWs 1-5, CAPA 1-11, Clicker results and estimated course grade can be found on CULearn.
