Week 3 (Jan 26-30): VOLTAGE: Chapter 17 this week and next. (We will skip 17-6, and 17.10-11 are just for fun, but again highly recommended. We'll talk about the material in 17.10-11 in class, I don't expect you to memorize terms, but to have a qualitative understanding of the physics of these devices)
Week 4 (Feb 2-6): Exam 1. CAPACITORS : Finishing Chapter 17
Week 5 (Feb 9-13): CURRENT AND RESISTORS. Chapter 18 this week. (We will skip 18.8, and 18.9-10 will be just for fun, but highly recommended.)

(And later, we will skip 23.10) But for this week, it's 23.1-2, and 23.4-6
Week 14 (Apr 13-17): Chapter 23, focusing (pardon the pun) on 23.7-8, and also 25.2-3. (but really, these are just more examples of lenses, I won't be pushing hard on any of the technical details here, just understanding basic ray diagrams!) Read 1,4&5 for fun, if you find it interesting (it's just yet more examples of the same stuff).
Week 15 (Apr 20-24): Starting Chapter 24 this week. (For exam-testable material, concentrate on 24.3-24.7)
Week 16 (Apr 27 - May 1):24.-8, and 24.10 will likely take us to the end of the term? Or maybe we'll talk about other interesting topics - we'll see..
