Physics 1120, Fa 2007
Taking lecture notes is an important part of any
class, but
you may prefer to just concentrate on actively participating! So, we provide you here
with a wide variety of "notes".
-
DAILY SUMMARY and READINGS Very brief one-liners! Reading assignments are here too.
- ASSIGNMENTS for this week ( in case you get confused about what's due
when)
- CONCEPT-TESTS
: Solutions posted after class, so you don't have to write down the questions!
-
LECTURE NOTES
: Detailed notes from Prof. Pollock. (You can also see old lecture notes from Prof. Dubson here. (These are from a previous semester, different text but same content!)
-
PRETEST QUESTIONS
These are pretest questions you do before tutorials.
One goal of each tutorial is that, by the time you're done, you
should have a good understanding of what was on the pretest, and have
developed some confidence and understanding of the material. Pretests are
"up" only for a few days a week, so if you miss one (or just want to go
back later and remind yourself of what it asked), you can find all those older pretests here also.
I would be very interested to know if you think this page is of any
use: email steven.pollock at colorado.edu, or victor.gurarie...
