Assignments

Homework assignments are due at the beginning of class each Monday. Only physical hard copies are accepted.

Each homework assignment consists of two parts. The first part contains both qualitative and quantitative problems that often require a calculator, many of which are taken from Hall's Musical Acoustics. The second part involves a hands-on mini-project, intended to allow you to gain a better intuition for how the concepts covered in class apply to the real world. These mini-projects often require materials that will be supplied in class, and they all require the use of the spectrum analysis software Raven Lite - for more information about how to download this software, visit the Software page.
