  • Tutorial is Friday after class. Bring the Spin sim this week. All are welcome, you don't need to be signed up to come!

    Other notes outside of class:
  • If you are eligible to vote in Colorado and have not yet registered, visit the Colorado voter registration page. Voting matters: I encourage informed, scientifically literate citizens to participate in our democratic system. If you are not a Colorado resident but want to vote in your home state by mail, check out the CU Voter information page for help.
  • The APS Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) is coming to CU Jan 15-17 2017, applications are due before Oct 17, go to www.aps.org/cuwip (More information here. )
  • "Beyond Bolder" is starting back up - it's a joint Phys/APS weekly meeting to discuss topics of interest to physics/astro majors as they approach graduation. (Questions: contact Nick.Schneider (at) lasp.colorado.edu)
  • CU-prime talks are every other week, Tuesday@5 (11th floor, with piazza). Their website is not up to date, check for flyers in the Duane/Gamow tower elevators. These are research talks by CU Physics grad students based on their PhD work, aimed very specifically at undergrads (you!) Also a good place to network about possible research opportunities, if you are interested
